Last night I finally got around to checking my email I can’t pick up remotely. One email stood out “Congratulations on your New Arrival!”.
My heart sank.
There’s one place I forgot to remove the baby I thought I was going to have.
I had no wine (and to be honest, wine and a day like today would not go at all), just husband and plenty of chocolate. So chocolate won, I logged on and removed the baby that wasn’t from my preferences, and settled to watch the BBC4 punk programme.
There’s me thinking I was organised, well done me for forgetting. Hmph. Hopefully there aren’t any others… I’m a bit annoyed the email came out of the blue like that.
Gosh, that's a bit thoughtless of the site. You would think they would wait for you to update with further details before sending out emails like that. Anything could have happened. You should tell them off, if/when you feel up to it. Hope you are doing ok. X
It was my fault for signing up and adding #2 on and forgetting to remove them – but it's the way there was no build up to it, no "looking forward to your new arrival" type nonsense you get bombarded with like your first one… threw me it did.
I put all my energies into The Wiggles this weekend instead – it's helped a lot!
I'm doing good though, it's just when something like that happens it's very odd… the due date passed (it should have been April Fools Day or around then) and that was weird, this coming so late was the weird bit too. Very weird.
