My beautiful daughter greeted me tonight at nursery with bright red cheeks, dried snot over one of her cheeks where she’d obviously rubbed it, and a look of pure delight to see her mummy…

We got home where a ‘while you were out’ card lay waiting, thankfully just next door – which we collected which was full of Easter present from Australia, the lucky girl. I’m not entirely sure where we’re going to put it, but we’ll cross that bridge when we need to…

Bathtime tonight wasn’t fun, actually, most of tonight wasn’t fun. A teary toddler who only wanted cuddles, the best medicine of all, and nothing else would do. No food, no nothing, just cuddles.

Then bathtime was more tears… so unlike her. She’s settled in bed now, still with bright red cheeks, a bit of nurofen to help calm it all down (we hope), and a good nights sleep.

I suspect this may be related to those last two molars which should make an appearance any time soon… she’s had no bother, I think the rosy red cheeks give it away…
