Just a quick one about photos. You take so many, and then you often want to print them up. Last week I discovered Lidl Photos… and while I sniggered I then saw their prices, and that they’re printed on good quality paper – so ordered up some A4 sized prints of nice photos we took in Australia the last few times (decided it’s time I took down my nice framed posters of The Breeders and Department Of Eagles, I’m a grown woman now… ) – they arrived really quickly and oh such a good price too – I got 11 prints and with postage it came in at £6ish. Bargain! So yes, I highly recommend – plus their individual prices are pretty good too. You can get a free mini photo book with free postage using the code freephotobook456 – though you can currently only do the books on Linux or Windows computers (not much use for a MacUser like me… though they say they’re working on it)
Then there’s the dilemma of photo albums… we’re fortunate to have a WHSmiths close to us, as in-store the deals are buy one get one half price… but if you order online they’re all half price anyway – and you can do in-store collections for free. A bit of a no-brainer there… hopefully a useful tip if anyone is getting a bit overwhelmed with photos and where to put them!
Oh, and sign up with Snapfish too – they’re offering 99 prints for 99p at the moment – and if you’re a new customer you can get another 50 for free too! Bargain – postage comes in around £2ish I think?
Truprint have an offer which finishes at midnight tonight (as stolen from My Mummy’s Pennies Blog– top blog for tips there) 99 6×4 prints for just 99p when using promo code 99PRINTS11 at the checkout – plus you get 50 free prints when you join!
(just realised, Truprint is powered by Snapfish. Oops)
