is doing so incredibly well these days. Sentences of four or five words, observing things, telling us what she can see/hear/read – it’s all quite amazing. Nursery are also really pleased with how things are going, and how she’s talking to everyone now (rather than being the shy moody looking girl who refused to talk to anyone)…

What’s even better is I’m getting lots of free time now, lots and lots – so I’ve got more things I’m doing. It’s all good.

I bought her a pillow this lunchtime, but she doesn’t seem interested just yet, sort of excited to have it, but not wanting to use it, but knowing what it’s for – a bit like her potty. We’re now entering the murky world of books about poo. Lovely. ‘Peek A Poo’ is the latest one which she insists on being read several times in a row… we’ve started a reward chart so if she does a poo, and we have to ask, and she confirms she has done one then it’s one sticker. If she tells us before we have to ask it’s two, and if she asks to use the potty then it’s three. It’s also helped it’s Peppa Pig stickers, so she’s actually inventing the fact she needs a poo in order to get more stickers on the chart. 20 months and she’s already trying to trick us…
