We had a lovely afternoon at Tessa and Matthew’s place yesterday, where H and their girl M made muffins (which were extremely tasty too). As it was evilly foggy I took the option of the bus there and back – we were stood at Wallington Station waiting for whichever bus came first. A lady started chatting to H, and incredibly, she chatted back. Considering H will generally cover her face with her hands and refuse to chat to anyone she’s never met, I was quite gobsmacked by this. It’s SO unlike her – and I hope we’re making some progress confidence-wise as far as talking in public goes (she still refuses to say her name at the start of our Dramabuds class).
Course, this may be a one-off too, but heck, progress.
