there’s a not-so good one. Last night being one – I went to bed around 10pm, and fell asleep around 10.30. Woke up at 12.30am, and there’s no Shaun or H in bed yet. Went downstairs, and she’d finally settled. Oops.

Come about 3.30am, and she’s awake again, a quick feed, and she was settled by 4.30.

The annoying side to this is I couldn’t get back to sleep. It’s now 8.15, and I’m already feeling a bit like a zombie. Bah.

I think we’re heading into, or are in the middle of a growth spurt. She’s feeding a lot more than usual – and there’s one due around the 3 month mark – so that’s lots of feeding and little sleep, until she’s ready to sleep, then it’s lots of sleep, while instead of one of us sleeping (me or Shaun, I mean), we have to get on with normal life.

Ah well…

She’s now started babbling in “baby” at us, which is quite nice, especially as it really does sound like she’s talking. She’s getting much more interesting, and is much more interested in everything. She’s also sleeping through the day, when I’m out and about pushing her in the buggy – never at home, though.
